The Funeral

on Sunday, December 30, 2012
What would you care the most when someone has just passed away?

As i mentioned yesterday my great uncle had passed away and today was his funeral, i saw crowds clustered beneath the canvas. I never know that he has such a big number of friends. My aunt has been worried throughout the whole funeral. The payment. It's something realistic someone got to think about, no one goona do it free for you despite the fact you have just lost someone, beside sadness.

Everything was fine as what i saw in the funeral.

Just one question which i just wrote on the opening of my post. What you care the most? Be honest and sincere to yourself. Consider you are dead and left in the world are your beloved soul mate and children, what would you hope to see? This is something very subjective, and me, maybe because of my father i have a very different thinking, sort of the same like my father, i admired him on this, or should i say most of the aspects in life.

Being a son, if my parents pass away, i'm just saying and carries no offences, i would do whatever seem right to be done at that time. Funeral is something inevitable which you have to get it done in front of all the relatives. In the Chinese society we are kind of constraint by all the rules. Every race, every tribe has their rules where the elders thought we should all follow fully despite anything. I don't know, for me it's ridiculous.

I'm not a superstitious Chinese young adult, i never get myself constricted by such ridiculous rules. For a certain extend, yes, i would follow but i have a limit, and i admit that i do not have patience, i'm still learning. If someone are forced to follow all the rules and made their life kind of turns up side down, what's the point?

You are only allow to go home after 7 days after the funeral.
What kind of rule is that? So they should just sleep at the corridor.

Daughters are not allow to pay their last respect to their parents for the last and ever time, only if after a certain number of days.
Talk some sense into the God damn rule! Daughters are not their children now?

You have to buy this and that during the funeral because it's a tradition which passes down centuries ago without considering your economical status, it's a MUST so you got to do it no matter what way you use.
What is this? They even having problems to feed themselves already!!

If the children do not have such ability to do such a thing, why would you want to force them? I don't mean the ones who lie in the coffin and i have no right to comment if they ordered them to do so right before they pass away. But, see, you rather looking at your children suffering on your funeral which practically means nothing but just a process because YOU.ARE.ALREADY.DEAD. what is the main concern? Parents hope for the best for their children and no one, never, wants to see their children suffer in such a way. They could have some problems like family or business or any personal stuffs, why being so stubborn? They are sad for the lost and now another thing came by, what should they do?

I believe not the parents themselves, is the relatives around who don't actually have a right to say anything because they are their parents, and their children. The people so call themselves 'the elders', never thought of the difficulties and stubbornly wanted the young ones to stick to such ridiculous stuffs, what the heck is that? Can't you all think sanely? Looking at them is devastating, feeling even puking.

I just don't understand. You can say i'm disrespectful, but i'm just being honest here, those things if you are able to afford all, you go ahead, but if you can't, don't put your head into shits. You know what, your parents, you have your stand. Despite what they say, you're the one who making the decision, not them. Who the hell they think they are? Be rational, don't ever influence by those who meant to mess up your mind, they don't worth you looking after their 'fragile' heart, fuck off.

You want to know why they are here, the relatives, big part is for the money. I don't want to go into details, you know what i'm about to say. Just that if i'm the one who involved, one day in the future, i would do sanely according to the situation. Relatives? Fuck off if you're not here to help but messing things up, i will literally kick your ass.

This is what my dad told me: Everything, you do it accordingly to your ability. I want it simple, and that's it. You know what is right to be done by then.

I know what to do.

To let know

on Saturday, December 29, 2012
I'm waiting 'Taken 2' to finish downloading, so i'm here.

Actually i planned to write something yesterday but i forgot what i wanted to write. I was here back then and eventually left. Anyway, i'm telling this now itself.

I'm reading a book call 'How To Save Your Own Life' by Micheal Gates Gill. He's the same author of 'How Starbucks Saved My life'. Well, to be frank if i didn't go to Popular in Leisure Mall i wouldn't had bought this amazing book. The bookstore was doing a sale on certain book and i found this, and another book calls 'The Last Lecture'. I haven't look at it yet but soon, after i'm done with what i'm reading currently.

So that book mainly talks about how to live life fully and happily and worth-fully, with no regrets. I learnt a lot, but at the same time i forgot a lot too. I wish i could remember all but it seems like my brain couldn't take that load. It's a really good book. If you wish to reflect on your current life, or save your life, perhaps you should go for it.

I read a lot this short break. I finish almost 2 books, and too i bought a lot of books. Despite i read all the fictions and non-fictions, i didn't touch my homework at all. I thought i will do revision regularly throughout the whole break but, well, no. I really need to get it going or i will not able to get it done before deadline.

And i watched a film calls 'Taken'. It was amazing. It is about human-trafficking, and it's horrible. I don't know, straight after the film i went online and check out about human-trafficking. It is really, something had been very active for the past ten years, and you wouldn't ever want it to be your encounter. What am i even writing that. No one wants it. I just feel so afraid with humans and the world, it had gone that wrong that humans thought only themselves and left no conscience for the rest of our kind. Whatever they are thinking is money, and only money beats all odds. What the heck is this? Who even... makes our life such suffocating?

I was thinking of travelling alone and this frightened me. It could be anyone anywhere anytime. It just happens to be who is the unlucky one. I mentioned about travelling alone with my mom and she is cool with it but anyway she suggested that to go with one friend. Whatever happens you could have someone backs you up, she said. I don't know, this is something i want to do by myself. I'm just scared now, you know. Or, i've been thinking too much? But the security nowadays, it's hard to not thinking again and again.

And here is this girl who i had been mentioning a lot all my life, and in my blog posts too. This is what she said:

我此生最骄傲,做得最对的事

就是认识到你
我的好朋友…

I didn't comment because it might make me selling off myself. But that is really sweet of you. Just know that the same goes to me, and you, too, will always be my best friend. Don't doubt, I really do, i don't say it for granted, i really very happy that you let me know about this. That touched my heart.

I and Wen
***************************************************

In less than 5 minutes ago i got a call from my aunt. She told me... My great uncle passed away. That was a shock. I didn't talk to him much since i was young but... it was too shock, and i passed the message to my mom, i don't know how she will react. To be serious my great uncle had been a good man whole his life. As i could remember my mom told me a little about how he treated her like a princess when she was young. I think she goona be really sad. Details i'm not sure yet, funeral things like that, but will get a whole picture the next day.

That's about tonight.

Just something minor i wish to share

Weekend

on Thursday, December 27, 2012
I never know that was so awesome i somehow couldn't believe i fell in love with another film after few months.

Here is this film called 'Weekend'. It was aired in UK on 2011 and it was a gay-themed romance. So far other than 'Chrolli', the Germany Soap Opera, i couldn't find any other film or soaps that i like much. In Chrolli i saw that hardship in their relationship and their passions burn unexpectedly bright i squinted my eyes, it was that fascinating. Of course, Malaysia never allowed gay-themed films to be aired.

In 'Weekend', it was another different kind of romance. As everyone says gay cannot be faithful, whatever they saw in their eyes is only sex. Before all, i just wanted to say, for someone to come out of the closet is the hardest and the most fearful thing he could possibly encounter. It's just not that easy. There are so many eyes looking and you have so many people to face, it's not easy as you spit few words in front of your family and your friends, you never consider the consequences carried behind each and every decision.

Left- Tom Cullen portrayed Russell
Right- Chris New portrayed Glen
Tom Cullen, a new star from UK as Russell in 'Weekend'. Russell is that kind of guy who i just described above. To get a better picture, and you're not sexist, do spend some time watching that breathtakingly beautiful film, you'll the picture. Someone is strong enough but someone isn't. I can understand that.

Tom Cullen in 'Weekend'
Don't give gays a bad name, that's what i want to say. Not every gay guy fails to hold onto a relationship or things like that, it must be a reason behind every move. And i somehow salute their bravery- They are truthful to their heart, they are honest to themselves, and that's how they define themselves rather than other to judge them.

Great movie.

About the eve

on Tuesday, December 25, 2012
I should write something. Actually i've got a lot to write about but every time when i want to record it down i forgot most of it, and that's very frustrating!

Yesterday i received a message from Kath, and a bad message, no, 2 bad messages...

1st- She told me about JY. She asked me what would you do if Frank look for you again. To be honest, i didn't really answer her the question. Instead i asked her what had happened even though i know it must be something bad. Anyway, she told me JY sent her 3 long messages and whined about how we neglected her. Kath got very annoyed due to some reasons, and i really don't blame her. Her problem right now is kind of the same with me, last time, whatever i encountered. I know it was bad, and i told her one thing, and it's truthful. JY somehow looked for her and whined her dissatisfaction, at least she did make a move, she wanted to clear things out and for that bravery for the first step, i salute her, it's sincere. What i even get? Nothing. I replied him every single messages. And my last message to him, he never text me back anymore until today. Compare to this, what say you? He just doesn't seem care for the slightest. And you know what, i'm done for being so naive, and it's fine i've spent too much time wasted on something so unworthy. Just so you know, that incident made me close all the doors, all the doors.

2nd- From Kath i get to know that one of our friend from secondary school caught a stroke and admitted into the hospital. That startled me, like, is that even real? That is so freaking close. Our friend, at our age, caught a stroke? For the last few weeks he was in the ICU and now already transferred to the normal wad. Whatever it is, for family, for works, for studies, everything lets make it a balance point. A great way to deal with depression is important, what delighted you the most is apparently your cure for the depression. Just don't ever push yourself to the limit, you'll eventually collapse. I'm learning too.

Today is Christmas eve. I went out with Priya to celebrate. We went to KLCC for a while and just walked like few hours and we left with 2 non-alcoholic drink. We planned to watch movie at my home to count down the Christmas. I know it sounds kind of lame, but it was peaceful. As my neighbours played the fireworks, it indicated the arrival of Christmas. It was amazing. We just held up our own bottle and greet each other 'Merry Christmas'. For me, it was totally awesome, in another way round.

It's not necessary to hit on bars or clubs to be awesome, in some other ways, it can be awesome too.

Before I got looked for Priya, i kind of did a lot of things. I wanted to study but the things don't seem to enter my brain, stuck, sort of. I went to Leisure and bought some stuffs. I bought 2 shirts for CNY, 2 self-enrichment books and on Swee Mei's birthday, i bought 10 music cds. So, to be frank, i spent quite a lot this week. But i'm happy with it. I'm just glad that i bought something good for myself. I can always save again, by time you return to your stuffs i'm pretty sure it's already gone. Sort of an experience thing.

Oh, and i bathed Lucy too. Like a fur ball after shower, so cute of her ;)

So tomorrow is Christmas, and I don't have plan. I'll see what to do, i might go home, or might not. But high chances though. Not like i have things to do anymore here in Ampang.

Silent night, holy night, good night everyone. Wishing you guys a very Merry Christmas beforehand!

for fun !

Swee Mei b.day

on Sunday, December 23, 2012
Well, a good night, and a short post.

Went to Alexis, a bistro, eventually. I had been talking with Priya about Alexis last time and now i finally pay the place a visit! Today is Saturday and there has got a performances, a live performances performing on the stage! It was great! The vocalists were great, the male vocalist able to mimic so many voices like mickey mouse and donald duck and many more, such a funny man. They made the atmosphere completely warm and filled with laughters- like a family! They are plain awesome!

And Swee Mei, to you again, happy birthday! Wishing you all the best and healthy always!

Just want to add one more thing. I went to McDonald's after got back from Alexis. We just thought to have a sit there. It's been a long time we never sit together in that particular McDonald's. The feeling was now different. We were all grown up as half-adult, what else i can add more? We having a different mind field already and pursuing a different life. I mean, what i saw tonight was they were all so grown, talking about business things and all. Well, i'm sort of a medical student and never really fits in business despite my father is a business man. I could clearly see the difference now.

We all having different problems, and scattered in different place now. The only reason to call us up together is the birthday, kind of pathetic, but that left us no choice if we come and think about it. Anyway, all the best, let the bads leave and delude with 2012 and open up our hands and welcome the arrival of 2013.

It will be a fruitful year, with crossed fingers, we shall wish upon the stars, everything goona be fine.

The doom's day

on Saturday, December 22, 2012
Well there has been tans of rumours spreading out there saying that today would be the end of the world. How much of reliability i don't know but it pretty depends on people. For me, doom's day? What the hell is that? The end of the world will only happen if the sun runs out of energy. I'm pretty much a science student, don't expect me to believe any facts from the religion like they just know cuz' the God told them in their own creative ways.

Anyway, that's not the story i want to tell today. It is or is not a doom's day, we students got to continue study and the adults got to continue their works making a living. So today was our knee and ankle joint's test, i hope i did well though. After the test we went to an area near swimming pool and took our very first formal group photo. Our class has got not many people, it is only 18 included me, and i think that's already a lot and our photos kind of impressive. So here are few i thought they're good:

Post with photos

on Wednesday, December 19, 2012
Today I goona do my post by using few photos i got from the internet. They are all self-reflection photos, with some caption in it, and I'll put my story in at the same time. Anyway, should be studying, but i don't think i can read much tonight. I slept for about 2 hours and i went online for another 2 hours. Unless i stay overnight and study or else i pretty much wasted my night.

This is a pretty amazing photo i got it from the internet. It looks so-so but
yet so many stories could be told. I used to think what if this and that
would it change anything, in everything? Seriously speaking, I miss
every of my days in my life, both good and bad ;)

This is another piece of masterpiece, or maybe the caption  kind of moved me.
There had been so many time i needed alone time, and i enjoy doing it.
I like to shop alone, i like to drink coffee alone, i like to read alone,
sometime i even like to take any meals alone, pretty awesome.
Those moments happen when i am very down, depress, emotionally crush and
fragile. I can't help it, it is part of me. Alone time, it gives me so many
chances to reflect whatever i did, for bad i do feel guilty about it
and for good, i glad that i've done things right. And thinking on
my future plan... Last time i kind of stuck but not now anymore,
i know what i want already, and i'm ready to do it correctly!

The day i found out what i really want to do with my life, i know a step of initiation
need to be taken. What about it, i finally begin it. It is hard, but everything kind of
making it an involuntary action. Everything you did which heading towards your
dream you willingly do it, and you're glad that you're doing it. And this goona
make your life, some day in your life, rich in term of satisfaction. And one day,
you will be glad that you actually did it, get it started, keep on going no matter what,
despite years and years of hard works, and you're now standing at a place where
you can finally declare to yourself: Whatever you did, here it is, your return, your dream.

Took it part of it is because my dream. Yes i did a lot of things to keep myself reminded
no matter what, do not give up. I have to keep my passion burning by all means, you gotta
do it right. Just never ever forget that the promises you made to yourself, don't let yourself
down. That's what you want and don't just quite half way. In every morning, you're one step
nearer to your destination. Remember that.

I can still resemble the picture while i'm in GP class with Ms Sarah. I told this to a lot
of my friends and i never get bored of it. That morning Ms Sarah asked us to think about
what do you want to achieve before you hit 30. My classmates all gave their answers and when
it was my turn, i stand and told the class: I want to be in Honolulu or Mediterranean already.
A plan to visit all the amazing beaches around the world by then is in motion.

She simply smiled. Just so you know, it's still on my list and i goona make it happen.

People had always said that for whatever thing you did with your life, make sure that you're proud
of it and never regret of doing it. If you proud of doing it, you will never feel regret at the first place.
If you feel regret doing it, you will never be doing it proudly at the first place. As for me, what else
could it be? Tattoo still on the list and i will do it no matter what and how the world, the people look
at me, this is sort of a thing that i have to accomplish before i die. You will never be able to stop me
from doing whatever i like, cuz' there's the source of my happiness, a radiation of irresistible power.

Well, this clearly stated that in order for you to get what you want, you got to
move your ass away from your comfort zone so call 'home'. You have to travel
dudes to reach your dream, a place where the magic happens. You gotta
understand that nothing magical would happen if your never face any obstacles
and pay the slightest hard work on it. Bryan Wu, no lunch is free of charge.

Simply taking it for... not for fun... for... Just... there's something in this photo.
Life is simple when people don't have much demand with their material stuffs,
you know what i mean. No matter how big your house is, or how fancy your
car is, you just goona occupied a small bed while you're sleeping, sitting on driver
seat to take you from one place to another. Materials have made man suffering, they
loss the happiness where they once promised themselves while they were young. Still
can you hear the little voices playing in your mind? It's time to wake up, those are not
permanent, rich'ing your heart doing something good for people in need is far more better than
working too hard to impress people that we don't like at the very beginning.
Love yourself, and lead a meaningful life.
That's all, and good night guys.

Christmas sweets

That is so sweet of Bavita.

For the first time of my life without exchanging gifts, i got 2 be-earlier X'mas gift from my university mates Christine and Bavita. I got one yesterday from Christine and in the late afternoon i received another one from Bavita. The content is sweets and chocolates, and i like it <3 p="p">
This afternoon during our lunch time i saw her writing something on the Christmas gift where it can be purchased in the university. The Northumbria students were doing some sort of Christmas fund raising activity and so the Christmas gifts were all selling there.

Anyway that's not the point. Bavita, i just mentioned in the afternoon while she was writing that how come i didn't receive any but Chu Ting they all got. I simply saying it but i think she did buy one present for Tammy and I before i even say it out. That is just... sweet!! Thank you Bavita that was really heart-warming. And Christine too, sorry in the post before this i don't literally mean it, maybe i kind of depressed or what.

Today i sat for my English final examination. The exam period was 2 hours and 30 minutes and we started late. Anyway we still managed to finish it. I don't know, but i kind of okay with my performance. I didn't say that i did well and of course some of the questions i didn't know if i was correct, and so for the paraphrasing and summary writing, i have no idea i did it good enough or just bad. I gave whatever i had. For the essay writing section, i managed to finish it with 5 paragraphs and the topic i chose was about media violence. I could barely remember the points i discussed with my friends back in my A-levels, General Paper's class with Ms Sarah. I hope whatever i wrote is correct. God bless me.

Finally, i finished the knee joint. I thought i can go into ankle joint straight but apparently i can't, or this is good enough for me already. The day i set my goal, study became a little easier and more initiative than before. I should have known my goal early in the course so i wouldn't had wasted so much time dwelling with my course. Good, i found it the first semester itself, it's not too late. Great, just happy.

Read 'Dear John' to the middle already, it's so much better than the film itself. For God's sake, please follow whatever in the book, alterations done in the film made it very bad! I'm just being honest actually, as an audience. Accept it or leave.

Wanted to post this photo earlier but things happened so... Just a be-earlier Season's greeting to Tammy and Eddie :D

p/s: Sorry if i screw up the presentation, will do better next time.

It was an activity at Fahrenheit 88, i participated for fun.
Merry Christmas guys!

Passion and fire

on Monday, December 17, 2012
Work literally the whole day on my working desk, feeling good.

I think i made a very hard decision of my life. Whatever i wrote on yesterday's post, i'm serious about it. I feel very happy and motivated with my study cuz' i finally found an exact reason of studying physiotherapy and the goal of my life. I would keep going no matter what. I would be a very very tough journey but as i said, it goona make my life perfect for myself. Whatever you want, go for it, don't wait until it's too late.

Working on my assignment the whole day on my desk without any resentment, this is for the first time. What is the odd thing? I feel happy on doing it. Is this the effect of doing something heartfully, for yourself, literally for yourself? I think it is. I'm really happy about it.

I have been studying for nearly 4 months and throughout those days i have no idea how much time i had wasted on something stupid. I can do better than wasting time of course ;) Thanks God, it's not too late for me to realize that. The bygone tests results, no matter how it turns out to be, for my following exam i goona nail it, i SWEAR!

Someone said passion is the fire that keeps you going further.

I found my passion, my fire.

p/s: Found a video suited today's and yerterday's post, a very meaningful video. Do stop by and click in and have a 3 minutes inspiring talk by Alan Watt. Well, it might be only for me. ;)

What if money didn't matter?

something unrelated, just feel like sharing it ;)

Future accomplishments

on Sunday, December 16, 2012
Remnants of yesterday's disaster: Didn't talk much to my dad. It didn't change my mind for the slightest on getting myself inked.

The thing i found last time now i'm taking it into action. I'd once mentioned to my mother but she said she might not able to just watch me left and risk myself. If you could remember and if i'm not mistaken, i mentioned about it once.

I wanted to join the army force after i gain my experiences, of course after i successfully graduated from my degree. That's actually what i want to do, exactly the one. I had been considering again and again. Some nights i found myself rolling and tossing in the bed couldn't fall into sleep, that's what i normally thinking. That moment is sort of a moment to let me think calmly.

As i say money is important, it's a root of making a living. And so as i say, money to me is like oxygen, i need just enough. Last time when i was little i wanted a big house, a high class condominium or apartment, a branded race car to drive around the towns, all the overpriced clothes and all. Thinking back about it now kind of feel stupid. How pathetic our kinds all are bounded to something so dead and suffocating ourself indeed. Anyway, that's what they want, i wouldn't interject. I'm actually happy i found mine.

I wanted to help people. The reason i'm studying physiotherapy is to help people and that will never be changed. I can work in a hospital, a fitness centre or even private practician running my own business but why i choose such a hardcore job? Question just hit exactly the right time.

I wanted something challenging. I wanted to be sent to some critical situations where help gravely in need, a place where medical helps are always in emergency. Yeah there's a lot of reasons people could fight against my statement but you know what, even though i might die in an army camp killed by the other people, i don't mind and i mean it.

Other than that, i wanted to be posted to a place like Africa where volunteer medical helpers would give their hand genuinely just to help them who couldn't afford any medical treatments and medications. I always wanted to go with the whole team of people who aren't only looking on money but a sincere heart to offer helps.

This is what in my mind: Graduate my degree as good as possible>go for hospital for 3 years working experiences and give the best of me>Apply for army force in other countries such as Canada and United Kingdom>Volunteer to places like Africa.

Those are the things i wanted to achieve in my life, till this far me as a 20 years old young adult. It sounded naive and impossible but i'll try my best for whatever i want to achieve in my life. I know by myself that my path would be so much harder than others the day i realized i wanted to join the force but people say 'if dream please dream big and put it into action'. I can do this.

I looked up the internet and found some information about the force in some oversea countries. Some of them strictly needed the practician their citizen and kind of disappointed me. There are still countries where foreigner who capable of doing their job would be taken into consideration. Of course there are plenty of exams like physical and mental ones but it would not kick me out, no way. I will consult my mentor next time when she happened to be free.

As i become a retiree i might have nothing like my own family, properties and even money perhaps. It will be kinda hurt when you see your friends now all living a normal human life and i'm not. I know only one thing, there's a different life we all choose, do not regret because the return you get is based on your own preferences. They might have family and properties but i might possess a heartful and pocketful of satisfactions and warmness. That's more than enough.

One thing for sure, if i don't happen to get someone to marry with i'll adopt a or a pair of kids and a German Shepherd too. With all those things, my life is then complete and i will die no regrets.

I accomplished my goal, simple as that.

ATTENTION!!

Bryan Wu move your eyes here to this paragraph and make sure you finish it!!!

For my big dream, i'm working hard from today. I hope this is the long lasting project, i don't want to change my mind any further. Bryan Wu, whenever you feel giving up or forgetting something, please come back to this post and read it all over again. Don't forget that you once have such a big dream and you got to achieve that. Hard doesn't mean impossible, it simple defines as higher hard work loads. Remember that!

Trilogy of disaster

on Saturday, December 15, 2012
Not a good day overall.

In the morning i got my exercises result. I should be happy about it cuz' it's more than what i'd expected- 21.5/30 But there's a buzzing sound around my ear saying i can do better than this.

In the afternoon i went to Ikea with my mom. She wanted to buy some pillows and necessity so i had my lunch along there. On the road she kept saying about tattoo and wanted me to wait until 24, a time when i graduated from my degree. She failed to change my mind, and she had my father talk to me. I know it's not her fault because whatever happened in the night later, my father asked her to try telling in the afternoon although it didn't work out at last.

So, in the night, my father talked to me very strictly. He said he is just giving opinions and whatever i want to do to my own body it's up to me. That sentence, what do you think? Anyway, despite that he still wants me to wait until i finish up my degree. He said all about the side effects of getting a tattoo and bla bla bla, the most interesting part was it might influence my study.

If you're saying it might influence me for getting a job next time that i understand. But you say it will influence my study. How? I still don't get it. I did some google search about impacts on tattoo and body piercings and in majority they don't have much problem with it. And my dad kept saying here's an Asian country and it's different from the Western countries. Of course i got it, but it's not going to stop me anyway. I just don't care okay?

And you talked about lock-up. What is the difference for you to get tattoo now and later if you say that i happened to get locked up in the future who knows what happens, and the cop would firstly interrogate me or some sort like that. Look, i know who i am, and what you're saying is i might make crime now and not when i hit 24?

Eventually he ended his conversation with 'i just want you to be matured enough to make a better decision because now you're a freshie and lot of things might look interesting to you but this is an irreversible action hence a clearer view of its before and after is crucial.'

Of course not exactly, i beautified the whole line. Okay, fine, i will try to wait until i graduate my degree. They said they wouldn't interject any of my living already when i'm 21 and now they still did it anyway. What's the point? How's your opinion works where i don't have my right?

The rest of the night i didn't really talk to him and just slept through the whole night.

Should i say it a bad day or what, i don't know. I still did not good enough? There's a lot of things i wanted to do but because my folks i held myself back eventually. I didn't tell them, what different can be made even if i told them? They say things like up to you and you're big now but later it'll turn out to be a lecture.

I hate being lectured by my dad.

I'm not rebellious okay, i just want to do something
i love, is that too much to ask for?

Inking myself

on Friday, December 14, 2012
As i'd written the post title, not literally yet ink myself but just thinking about it.

I couldn't remember when was the time i wanted a tattoo badly on my body. Personally i think tattoos are just a kind of body art and of course inking it on your body you got to make sure it carries some sort of meanings for you, you're not simply doing it just because you wanted to have one.

Even until today i still wish i could have a tattoo on my body. I'm turning 21 next year, other than piercing which i'd done in advance before telling my parents because i know they will object. I don't blame them. Look, in our Chinese culture whatever extra thing on your body for examples tattoos and piercings (especially on guys) are considered bad influences. This is some sort of stereotype by the older generation. If you're saying how old are my parents, my mom not more than 40 and my dad just stepped into 40 one year ago. Talking about generation gap, i will rather leave it to you.

My dad had 3 tattoos at his back, and i thought those were something really cool. An art, simply a body art for me, and those tattoos on him made him tough as hell, hot as ever! I never been any embarrassed by his tattoos instead i always feel proud everytime he gets naked in front of people, or took us for swimming, exposing his bare back in the public, everyone widens their eyes looking at my father's cool as ever tattoos, you have no idea how good i felt inside my heart. Even my mom has got a tattoo at her cervical region.

And chinese says that was bad influence Talk some sense into me, how could it be? If yes, my parents are the bad influence then, they made me to think tattoos are good, and because they have tattoos, so i entitled to get at least one when i'm grown. If that's what they mean.

Okay, fine, maybe yeah, for a certain extend they somehow influenced me or even corrected my mind toward those stereotypes. That are simply a body art and i don't really care how people look at it!

This evening when my father brought us out for dinner and mentioned something about getting an ink at my arm or my back or my neck. It went like 'Mom, for my 21st birthday can you sponsor me a tattoo? instead of any other material stuffs?'

My mom actually has nothing against it, if i badly wanted one she would not say anything. But a different story for my father. He had 3 tattoos at his back and he kept trying to change my mind and delaying me to get my body inked. Maybe he has his very reason that those are bad or you may regret when you get old or the needles might carry infections. Seriously speaking i don't really care about that. I always have a thought in my mind: If you keep things delayed EVERYTIME you will never ever get things, or your wishes done because you are too coward and somehow hard for you to show some 'manish' bravery.

Yes, i wanted one, and why? I'm turning 21 in about 7 months, and i wanted to get one on my birthday itself. The tattoo would indicate the fact that i finally stepped into adulthood and i'm a man now, i have responsibilities on my family and myself. Every step i take will eventually or somehow affected my family. i got to stay strong in any situation, i got to be calm and make things right when things got really out of hand. And i believe the tattoo on my body would help me though as a mentally support, something that keeps me reminded: stay strong for whatever bad incidents bump into my life, and for your family, their hope and the burden you bear you are not suppose to disappoint them. They had given me their best and whatever they could, it's finally my turn, as an adult, their grown son, to take care of things, the obligations, to show them i'm capable to done things for them already, without them worrying about life, myself, everything.

That's what actually i'm thinking. My father thought that i wanted attention and in the car he suggested me to go for gym to build my body and he'll support me. It's not the case. I had been thinking about it and seriously speaking i'm not that kind of gym kid, i don't really need my body to inspire people. That's only one thing in my mind: will the tattoo looks weird on my thin arm that's all.

Anyway, thin or not, agree or disagree, as a gift or not, i will still get myself inked when i hit 21, and that's for sure. I'm saving money now and God i swear i won't change my mind. You have no idea how hard my dad tried to change my mind in the car until a point he gave up and say 'i think Japanese tattoo isn't that bad' and i was kind of please with that.

Thanks for trusting me. I'm not doing it for granted, for some sort of reason, i needed that to help me walk through life. I know you guys would always by my side but i have a weak inner-self and i need something to rely on when nobody is around me or rather i say the time i wanted to be separated from people, calming and clearing my mind, just some alone times.

That's what i want. If can, i needed your blessings. Without your blessings i will feel guilty for every step beyond. Whatever i'm doing, my mind is in serene, i'm sober and i know what i'm doing and that's for some good for myself, i swear.

Of course the tattoos will always get covered so it wouldn't affect my future work. I understand even until today, 21st century people still got so frightened by people who possess tattoos. The stereotyping on tattoos is too strong. They don't get that, it's a body art. Sigh.

My night i spent it on looking on tattoo designs. I kind of like some symbols, like tribal tattoos like the Hawaiian Tribal tattoos, they're symbolic and every and each means something like leadership, spiritual, adulthood and more. Exactly what i want and their designs are superb! Celtic's isn't that bad and so far the best design is the polynesian tattoo. Talking about polynesian i'm not so clear about it, but you can't deny the fact that they have those genes in their blood. Fascinating.

Here a few i got it from the net and all copyright belonged to them. Those are the designs i've taken into consideration.

So, that's my story today. Good day ahead!

Little or a huge change?

on Wednesday, December 12, 2012
My life is fine, everything runs well except a fact that i newly discovered. This morning was a beautiful morning, until late in the evening the sky turned grey. It was a sign of heavy pouring. Despite it i stayed back for the sake of our assignment.

We were given a task, or i should put it as a topic to present. Throughout the whole clinical postings, the observations which we had done, we were requested to do sort of a summary of one patient of all about his, or her condition. Understanding on their situation is a need and by using the knowledges acquired, prepare 3 slides for a 10 minutes presentation. The 3 slides have to include the use of reflection model and experiential learning as well as the description of the patient's illness.

There are 3 people in our group. As usual, Tammy, Eddie and I were in the same team. Until about 11am in the morning i was told that Christine are going to change to home-grown programme from her current Northumbria programme. She needs to take all the formative assessments which she already left out if she wants to join us.

About this reflection and experiential learning presentation, Christine had confronted Mr Raj. Apparently Mr Raj told her to join any group to complete her ever first presentation in this programme. I think Mr Raj and Madam Chan are going to take her in despite all the difficulties Madam Chan mentioned earlier. She was greatly pleased by the fact that Christine's complements on home-grown programme. The most ridiculous incident of all happened today was Madam Chan mentioned our names in the class- Tammy, Eddie, Bavita and I saying that we somehow brainwashed her and she's now saying how good home-grown programme is and how the lecturers using step-by-step method on their teachings. She even said we seemed relax and her life in Northumbria was suffocating.

That is the thing. Our life never been relax, please make that clear. We 'seemed' relax but actually we're not. You saw things on the surface but you have no idea how many hard tasks we had completed so far. We did more that 10 formative assessments in 3 months. We did our very first practical assessments after studying for only 2 months. We had done 4 English assignments. More than 5 presentations we had done. And now we have 2 writing assignments on hand that queuing to be completed. We just done things that you didn't see.

To be frank, don't make me guess it correctly. Your reason here is not because a better life in home-grown programme, it was about Eddie. God, your decision would be good IF nothing bad happens. Of course i don't hope anything bad happens on you guys but things happen, you know that. You are like tattooing your passionate lover's name on your arm never knowing that one day if you both break up, how awkward it could be. Just exactly like how you goona face the NAME on your arm.

We were discussing whether Eddie senses anything. That's just weird. If for me i wouldn't have agreed. Well, she's his girlfriend, whatever it's none of my business. Just one thing bothered me. Bavita and we all are 4 people together and most assignments requires not more that 4 usually. So tell me how are we going to separate things up? Just kick someone out of the group? People even worrying that she might not be serious for any of the course works or assignments or presentations or any group activities. Sorry to say that this change doesn't bring any good to us. We are like a family pack already for nearly 4 months and now a newbie joined us. Just wondering... How will that develop?

Now she's joining us. The presentation strictly written 'only 3 people in a group' and Mr Raj just violated his own rules. Obvious contradiction. How are we branching this out? 3 slides meant for 3 people and each responsible for one slide. The forth one now, talk some sense into me that 3 slides are possible making up for 4 people.

Don't feel like talking about this anymore. Winding up this post i will be very likely to upload 2 photos from Senese's birthday. It was shot by the photographer and it had been uploaded few hours ago. That 2 were the best i saw among Senese and I.

Strictly for fun ;)
p/s: English oral and listening test were fine, hope things goona work out just fine.

Procrastination kills human

Today was fine, didn't plan to blog actually but since i've got some pictures in my phone so that's why i'm here.

Early in the morning i went to Big Bad Wolf book fair. Not too many people though but nice books  all got bought by people already i guess. I found only 6 books and it caused me only 48 bucks. From where you could get such a price for 6 books?

And i took my breakfast in The Mines before i go back home. At J.Co Doughnut and i bought a cotton cap which you can normally see people wearing it during the winter. I know Malaysia doesn't have 4 seasons but it looked beautiful and it's my favourite colour- Grey, so i decided to buy it. 15 bucks not too expensive anyway. Will wear it for next outing!

Oh yeah, and i went to Tropicana City Mall finally. My father brought us there to just have a look and i wanted to learn the way to there. My friend stayed there so i can go to find him occasionally without using GPS. Christmas is so near already ahhhh~

My night i stuck my eyes on the laptop for more than 5 hours and completed only first 2 sections of my assignment. Tomorrow i'm going to do the next 2 sections if possible to complete the assignment. The due date is still far away but i just don't like to accumulate works. I tried not to rush my works cuz' the outcome confirm wouldn't be good.

I didn't expect the assignment is that hard. As in the facts part, it took me longer time than i expected. At least i did something this week. No guilty heart. But damn. The coming Tuesday i have English oral and listening test. So tiring, tests never ended. And formative assessments too. And summative assessment is here in another month. Tans of books to read actually but still so many works to do.

Assignment, no time to revise.
Revision, no time to for assignment.

Fuck.

Lesson: Procrastination kills human. Literally.

7th of Dec- the night

It had been amazing!

Remember that i've told all of you that i've got plan for Priya, her birthday celebration, everything went well except that she didn't want to eat cupcake suddenly. I brought a candle and a lighter but that part of the plan got turned down so... But still, i bought and brought a sparkling juice and 2 wine glass.

So she's the birthday girl
Sparkling juice. She laughed like mad and said that it was cute. I swear to God if i got a little more time i would have bought a wine or something. Cute.. you know the definition for cute: ugly but adorable. Ahhhh... but anyway, the surprise for her was really went well and an unexpected surprise came by without any notice.

After our dinner at Miss Kwan's, and after we hunted a gift for Priya's boyfriend at Puma, i brought her to the outdoor empty space located just in front of the philharmonic hall. I showed her the sparkling juice and after her hysterical laughs and tried opening the bottle. She popped the cork and produced kind of a loud sound, and just there sat a foreigner looking and laughing at us. I was laughing too of course, and i asked him whether he wanted to join us for the sparkling juice. He's kind of a friendly guy.

So he sat near to us, and 3 of us shared the sparkling juice. His name is Fabian, he's from Germany. Of course, Germany. The time i heard him said he's from Germany i got so surprised and excited. He told us about himself and a little about Germany, and we told him our cultures and something special about Malaysia too. We talked for hours, and it's hard to put everything here. Even now i could barely remember what he told us, just left some fragments of memory.

Priya:Saikit:Fabian
That night, it was thoroughly fun. This will occupied part of my mind, always.

p/s: Germany, i swear i'll go one day!

Priya says it's a badass look LOL!
