Peneng

Went to Peneng for an escape for four days. Stayed in HardRock Hotel for 3 days 2 nights, at Gurney Hotel for another night.

Had a lot of fun. My friend who stayed in Peneng picked me up at Gurney Paragon on one day and drove me around the town. That night i had the most fun, ate a lot and visited a lot of places.

By the way, Senese's parents had been very generous throughout the whole trip, almost everything was on them. Thank you.

Not going to write much this time but i'll upload some photos. Check them out. ;)

Dear friend,
I had an argument with my dad just few hours ago on the topic of abortion.

Right before i go into this let me just mention that of all whatever he said he is a good man with a very fatherly mindset, please don't get him wrongly.

So we were watching one TV show and they were talking abortion. Every once in a while my father and i like to debate on some topics that is being discussed in just any TV programmes. Sometimes we agree with each other and sometimes we do not and get into serious argument. Well, today we don't agree with each other.

That time we were talking about a young mother, a teenage girl impregnated by an asshole. She was just 17. From the perspective of a father he listed down all the consequences that to be bore by the female, or called the mother. So from there he talked about the future, the cost to raise a child, experience, education and all sort of fatherly things.

And what i decoded from his answers was he kind of agreed with abortion IF a girl is not ready, or too young to be a mother. From there started my objections. I said something about humanity, past successful cases around the globe of those young age mothers and a lot more which is too long to write. I certainly don't agree with abortion.

My mom and sister- Jane were there witnessing our argument and up to a point my mom looked at me fiercely for some sort of weird reason. For not respecting my dad perhaps. I just don't think so. I respect my dad so much he taught me so many things and take life differently. Oh and, don't take things as granted.

Here this is the fact: don't expect your children to have the same mindset as you do. Based of the age gap and background diversity, we just can't put the opinions together. To be able to argue your point and stand up for what you think it is right, i'm sure that is the reason my dad works so hard to put Jane and I into the university. Without this kind of debate i don't think i could argue good or even have the courage to talk to whoever that comes by me, regardless his/her rank in the society or background.

I really don't call it an argument to be frank, perhaps a discussion or a debate in a more serious manner. It is meant for different opinions based on individual beliefs and reasons. From there we learn each other better, learn about the topic more thoroughly, let go then and live on. It is a good thing, isn't it? One thing we all have to understand, to learn better we will need to put down our egoism. For the sake of better learning.

All my life i'm thirst for knowledge. I am not showing off anything, just that i like to read and learn every sort of things. Things that i don't understand intrigued me more than what you're expecting you have no idea!

Before i end all this, let me just say it again: My dad is old and as a person gets old, things he worried on everything, children, events, health, just all, increase with his age. Reason is simple, he fell so many times throughout his life, he just didn't want us to walk the wrong way, or the hard way which he had walked before. Another thing is, as a person grows old, he lost his courage. He is not as brave as he used to be while he was young. These things are the fundamental of a fatherly mindset especially you grow old with children beside you. I understand that. He is a good man i assured you. He will be 100% giving full moral support if such thing happens, of course i don't hope this will ever happen in our family. It is just verbally we discuss and as a dad he has a dignity to preserve. We both understand each other's thoughts. I'm sure.

Dear father,
I love you so much i couldn't express myself in words, the language has failed me. Thank you for all the things you had done for the family; every little thing that eventually shaped Jane and I into perfectly fine human beings which is now so rare the society's dying for. The moments that you find me disrespecting or defying you, i'm sorry i swear to God i don't mean it. At the peak of the argument there will never be a solution especially when it involves two guys.

Lastly, blood in the young spirits are always seething you can't help it. And that is the period of time they have that and please don't stop them, once the courage is lost it's gone forever. Don't make them repent. Mistakes made are the tracks of them growing up, you know? Let them be. Let me be. Don't worry, they'll be fine, we'll be fine, i'll be fine.

They understand things better now because they are growing up. They are grown.

With love,
Kit- your son.

With love,
Kit

Dear friend,
Suppose i write you this letter yesterday night but i was too tired i fell asleep immediately when i lied on the bed. I had too much of fun.

2 days ago it was a Friday Priya planned something for me, it was kind of awkward to say it but it was my birthday celebration. Yes, again. It was my 4th celebration and it made me really happy. She reserved a table at Italianese and invited some friends- Ka Seng, Ying Hao and Peggy, to come. She bought cake and few friends shared a present for me. It was really a blast.

Swear to God i didn't know that Priya bought me a cake i simply thought it was just a dinner and i was already very happy with that. When the waiters came to me with a cake on his hand, i looked awkwardly at my friends and 'seriously?'

The waiters called me to stand on the chair, which i refused to. And guess what, they made a scene. The waiters were drawing the attention from all the people who are having their meal and kept cheering 'On the chair' for quite some time until i finally agreed to stand on it. I wasn't to 'jual mahal' but it was too awkward, so many eyes in there and because that time our Muslim friends were just breaking their fast, the restaurant was overwhelmingly crowded.

And here came i don't know if it was the Italian tradition or the restaurant's tradition, for every word i said i need to put a stalk of salt into my mouth. I'd eaten so many raw salt that night you have no idea. By the time they finish singing the birthday song for me, was so honored everyone in the restaurant was singing in unity, and some photographs taken, I was finally allowed to retreat from my current position and started eating the cake they all prepared for me.

That night was really a blast i can't describe each and every detail here, simply awesome.

Compare to all those fancy party, i think this this kind of small celebration which you have friends willingly make it for you instead of your parents, the most precious thing on earth. You don't find many of these friends. I am so honored. 4 celebrations, i couldn't be anymore happier.

The next day we went to PD for just a day trip, listening to wave sound and some cool music played by Ying Hao and I. We left KL at 9am and back to KL at 5pm. It was sufficient to chill there, walk around the seashore, play guitar and take lunch. Thank our driver for the journey it was really fun. I hope he enjoyed that too.

P/s: Ying Hao played a very good guitar, he could be the most romantic guy i've ever met. He deserves a girl that treats him right. Let time shall us wait.

Always love,
Kit

Dear friend,
What would you do when you feel down for no reason? Would you try to do something you like to cheer yourself up or just lying in the bed staring at the ceiling?

Yea feeling down for no reason. Please don't be mad at me but whenever i feel sad i thought of you, my hypothetical friend.

I watched 'The Apprentice' just an hour ago and the participants were really good, you have no idea. I kind of wondering how they get ideas so fast to answer Fernandez's questions. I hope one day i will be as good, and spontaneous, with points, doubtless, like them. Passionate, awesome leadership.

And i never know my sister is that accepting when it comes to homosexuality. I can still remember she once said that gays are weird and look at this young lady right here already a great and open mind she owned. How a young mind to be painted beautifully with correct education. You get what i mean? She changed so much. I love her more than ever. Please check this out:

This is very beautiful. Exactly the picture in my mind, with either my wife or husband.

This thing i'm sure of: Kids begin their life with an innocent mind like plain white paper which are to be painted either beautifully or hideously. The painters have to be good or these minds will go through hell kind of life and get wrong kind of teaching. Believe it or not. Painters- parents, teachers, society. You have no idea how much impacts these sources that are to the kids. I believe if kids are being raised correctly, hatred will cease.

The last generations are being implemented with the wrong kind of thoughts and our generation and the coming generation are going to change all this. As people are getting open and accepting, a lot of good deeds can slowly be done. Trust me. And all begin with kids. Don't ever ruin them. They are meant to change the future.

One last thing before i come to an end, Stephen Chbosky has once said 'We accept the love we thought we deserved' and for a weird reason i don't agree and try not to put it into myself. I always willing to give more for the ones i care about and for that, i deserve it. Why? Cuz' i know exactly how it feels to have nothing, at all.

I have said so many weird things today. Thank you for still bearing all this.

Love always,
Kit
